Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a member of the Lamiaceae, or mint family of plants, and has been used for for a long time for its calming effects, as a sleep aid and to remedy an upset or cramping stomach, as well as being a fascinating attractant to most cats, who enjoy playing and chewing catnip leaves, stems and flowers. A versatile herb, dried Catnip can be a calming relief and enjoyment to both felines and humans.

Our 100% Organic Catnip has a soothing, warm and floral flavour and aroma and can be used as a tea by simply filling a cup with boiling water and 1-2 teaspoons of leaves in a strainer, letting them steep for 10-15 minutes. For cats, simply sprinkle on food and toys.
